SNMP Management Modules
SNMP agent module for the management of MICROSENS multiport converters. The special functions of all multiport converters can be accessed using the MICROSENS specific enterprise MIB (Management Information Base).
The MICROSENS specific MIB definitions are supplied with the module. Using this MIB file the converter management can be integrated into all standard SNMP management plattforms. Which functions can be accessed is dependent on the individual abilites of the converter to be managed.
The SNMP module permits access to all manageable multiport converters via SNMP. The SNMP agent is accessed via an 10/100 Base-FX port for the connection to the network.
Via an integrated serial port (RS-232) the SNMP agent can be configured using an external terminal. An update of the agent software is possible by download.
