Fast Ethernet 2 Port Multifunction Bridge
MICROSENS multimode / single mode media converter enables the transparent and bidirective connection of single mode and multimode fibre optic lines.
The Single mode fibre is the best solution in the telecommunication and information fields with high data rates.
The multimode / single mode converter meets all requirements of your LAN and WAN applications, whatever the standard is: Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, FDDI, ATM RNIS E1/T1 or Sonet/SDH. Moreover, it is also adapted to the newest challenges of networks providers, city carriers and leased line applications.
The transparent coupling allows to implement it in different network protocols up to max. 1,25 Gigabit/s, like Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, FDDI, ATM 155 and ESCON®.
The converter is constructed in the form of an insertion card, which can be built into the MICROSENS 19" modular system. 12 insertion modules can be mounted into a modular system. If you need a redundant power supply, you only have 10 places left. In case of a partial equipping, the unloaded slots can be masked with blank covers.
Depending from the required optic power, wavelength and connectors, MICROSENS offers a wide range of multimode / single mode converters.
