Token Ring / Fiber Media Converter
The MICROSENS Token Ring Media Converter Module enables the conversion of electrical Token Ring segments to fiber optics according to the IEEE 802.5J standard.
The converter is suitable for 4 and 16 MBit/s networks. It can be used both, single and in pairs, e. g. also in combination with a desktop unit (MS411501).
The converter automatically identifies its position in the segment and configures itself accordingly.
An internal plug panel permits the crossing of send- and receive pairs on the electrical side, so that no special crossed patchcords are required.
The MICROSENS Token Ring Media Converter Modul enables insertion of module in the modular 19“ Plug-in system.
