Transparent Converter Module Multimode/Single mode
MICROSENS´s Media Converter enables the transparent, bi-directional connection from multimode to single mode fiber optic.
The single mode fiber optic is a perfect high data rate medium.
The transparent connection enables direct transmission without protocol conversion. So it´s possible to use a bandwidth of the fiber optic optimally.
The use of MM/SM Converter Module extend the field of application to every LAN and WAN solutions, for example Fast Ethernet, ATM, Gigabit Ethernet, ISDN E1/T1 and Sonet/SDH as well as the classical applications in Backbone area and also the new applications fields (for example Networks Provider, City Carrier and Leased Lines).
