In central distribution centres the requirement of converting existing connections into different media is demanded.

For this application a system is needed, which can be easily mounted into the distribution rack and flexibly adjustable to the requirements.

All insertion cards are supplied with power by a central power supply unit via a central backplane.

The MICROSENS 19“ Modular System is based on an insertion chassis for the installation into a 19“ rack and is available as 3 HU as well as 1 HE system.

The converters are designed as Modules. Up to 3 Modules can be mounted into one chassis. Various Modules for the conversion of different interfaces are available. All Modules of the same product line can be combined with each other and can be exchanged during operation (Hot Swap).

All connections are accessible from the front, which considerably facilitates the installation and maintenance.
